I just finished making this sugar skull/sacred bleeding heart bag.   Got to say....It was fun to deviate from my normal subject matter and even materials.

I do a lot of historic work and restoration.  I love both of them - but they also confine me in a box sometimes.   I have to worry about the exacting nature of the work,  and if even the materials I use are historically accurate.   Getting the correct materials can be a huge problem.

This was fun to just let loose.   I used rhinestones which I could never use on historic material,  different beads than normal and the skull beads on the fringe were" to die for" in my book ( Pun intended ).  I was just waiting to use them on :-)

I am really hoping to make some more of these little guys in the future.   Because I really enjoyed this project.  Now back to my normal work.
