Tlingit Evening Bag

This bag is also at the Stonington Gallery in Seattle.  It is beaded on trade cloth, using antique and modern cut beads.  The gold beads are 24k gold plated.  The frame is antique sterling silver.  The fringe also has trade beads and dentillium shells, which were very valuable commodities to the Tlingit people as well as other tribes of the Northwest Coast.
