I totally forgot about this bag, until I was digging thru a trunk today looking for something else. This bag was one I made for a friend a while ago. He lives in Alaska, where he carves ivory and sometimes is a tour guide. One day I get a phone call from him. "Angela, Guess who's here right now" Of course I reply "I have no clue" "Holly Hunter. She's likes the buffalo robe you painted and is interested in one"
Seems Holly Hunter was in Alaska filming "The Big White" with Robin Williams and Woody Harrison. Somehow my friend ended up taking them Mountain Bike riding and several other activities while they were there. So I asked him kind of jokingly to get her autograph for me. And he did. On the bag I had made him. Thats how I ended up with my Holly Hunter Hunting bag.
Of course I think my favorite roll she played was in the Coen Brothers film "Raising Arizona" She really is a gifted actress.
